====== Switching to Linux ======

When migrating away from windows, one challenge will be ensuring that any files that are still desired to be opened can be opened in the new software. Consider the following: Old design files, old video production files, old animation production files. So ensure that Xara, Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects, even Adobe Illustrator files and others can be opened on the operating system you move to, OR port those files to something more open such as PDF, PNG, SVG, mp4 etc. 

Below is a list of consideration before completely switching from Windows over to Linux, what things will be left behind or replaced. Some are obvious. 

Potential Distros to switch to:  CachyOS, Omarchy, Arch, Zorin, Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora.  There are others but this is good for now.
