==== Comments about Canon ====

I've owned two pro-sumer Canon cameras in the past. Both of them failed me in terms of the shutter and well under what they generally say is the shutter life of # of shots.  One I repaired and got it back and it began suffering the same problem.  I think I'll stay away from Canon for a while unless maybe a mirrorless option with no shutter in hopes that it can't have the same problem. 

==== Nikon D850 ====

This camera being a Nikon full frame is appealing.  It's definitely prosumer-to-pro in it's price point and features for sure.  A couple of the standout features along with being full-frame is 4K video and 120FPS slomo shooting in HD.  While that may seem like an unnecessary extra given what you can do with digital, it's actually quite useful in crafting all sorts of video sequences. 120 - 180fps are really the comfortable area of slow motion. Slow enough to embellish and enjoy the motion without getting tedious. 240FPS which is available on some devices is a bit too slow. 

==== Panasonic Lumix S ====

This camera is another that shoots slow mo at a good frame rate, 180fps or less in HD.

===== Sony Alpha ===== 

There is such a huge lineup of these cameras now it's almost hard to keep track. They have fixed lens options and interchangeable full-frame DSLR and Mirrorless. To Be Continued
